Genesee Valley Council on the Arts provides $3,936 grant to fund Young Women Create Project

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - For the second straight summer, 20 girls ages 11-14 will have the opportunity to participate in a 4-week self-expression project designed to use visual arts as a way to unleash their creativity and explore their passions through a $3,936 grant awarded by the Genesee Valley Council on the Arts. “We are very thankful for this funding as it allows Jazz Network to further its mission to empower the next generation of women leaders,” said Jazz Haywood, the Founder and Executive Director of Jazz Network.
